Dulce Saguisag, wife of former Senator Rene Saguisag, died instantly in a vehicular accident on Pasay Road before 2 a.m. Thursday. The former senator is in critical condition at the Makati Medical Center.

Dulce Maramba Quintanas-Saguisag was declared dead on arrival, and brought to the hospital's morgue. She was a cancer survivor.

Life, once again, proves its irony and betrayal.
